Guilty pleasure confession. Don’t judge me now. It is fish finger sandwiches.  Something so simple is just so satisfying you can’t help but smile from the moment you know that is what you are having to the end. 

You can dress up fish finger sandwiches in many ways such as with home made fish fingers, fresh white bread, tartare sauce, salad and mayo, cheese, so many possibilities. Tonight however I just went back to basics.  Fresh white sandwich bread, lots of butter and salad cream.  Not fancy salad cream either, Heinz works perfectly.

So so good.  I love great food, lovely restaurants, fine dining, fresh food yet give me a fish finger sandwich and I am one happy, happy girl.
