Today my beautiful funny kind hearted baby turned 14. He requested eggs Royale and eggs benedict at lunch (one half of his muffin royale, one Benedict) and for dinner he asked for steak, little chippies and a mushroom sauce.
I really do have a thing for eggs Benedict and always order that whenever we go out for breakfast. I don’t change ever. I made the hollandaise in my food processor (with the help of Matt) and it actually came out perfectly. It was thick, unctuous and had just the right salt and acidity. Gorgeous.
He loved his GTA inspired cake and I was so pleased at how it ended up.
