I’ve been testing various recipes and today I finally have found a great vegan/vegetarian alternative to fried fish and made it taste very, very close to the real thing.

I made it with banana blossom which you marinate in just 1 tbsp of caper juice, the salty vinegar really does work well, you then dip into a thick batter, finish with a squeeze of lemon and that is it. Perfect vegan “fish”. I’m quite pleased with myself because it tasted so good.
