Today I found some really delicious bread in M&S, a cranberry and pecan loaf.  It was really very good, the cranberries were slightly sour and I had it with some brussels pate, they both went so well together, it was really a great lunch.

Then we had cheeseburgers this evening which Matt just loves.  He is doing his Duke of Edinburgh and, with COVID still in full force, he is learning a life skill as part of it and has picked cooking and so this seemed like another good dish to learn. Real home made burgers are so much better than ready made ones. Matt learnt how to cut off any sinew from the steaks and how to season the meat before mincing it.  We are both really enjoying the cooking.
