I thought it was about time I cooked from my Burmese cookery book, Mandalay.  We made a squash curry which needed the strongest smelling fish paste I have ever ever used.  It was so strong the whole house smelt!  However, the curry was really really delicious, not really like anything I have had before, it had so much taste without any heat whatsoever, it was lovely.  It was so tasty and so delicious and me want to cook a lot more from this book.
