The book club today announced the book of the month for August - Preserving by Emma MacDonald. I have made fruit curd before and cranberry sauce but less than a handful of times if I am honest and so this is intriguing to me. I have ordered it and really look forward to getting into it. I love the idea of making gorgeous chutneys and jams with the exact flavour I want as I can be so fussy about flavour profiles of jams and I really don’t like raisins in chutneys.
I have always loved the idea of making jam but just never have, maybe this book will give me the confidence I need.
