I was in London today with the day job as I had a project being implemented today.  On my way it was gloriously sunny and so warm so off I go in my t-shirt. By lunchtime however the weather had turned dark grey and cold. 

By the time I got home I was tired and just wanted something warming, sweet and comforting. When I opened the fridge and saw the cherries I knew just what it needed to be, cherry crumble. Cherry crumble is warm, heady with spices, sweet, the cherries sour, soft with the cream, crunchy and just THE perfect winter dish.  I love cherries and I am so grateful for the beautiful bounty we got from our tree this year.
