This evening we were going out for steak and, not wanting to travel too far having just come back from the wedding, we decided to stay local and ended up in Miller & Carter.  Now I have been before and was not a huge fan the last time I came but, today was good.  Our Waitress was absolutely lovely (although really, really busy and pulled in so many directions), and the food was delicious.  I started with a strawberry Bellini, had scallops and pea puree for starters, steak and chips with peppercorn sauce and bernaise sauce and an after eight cocktail.  Delicious.  The only thing I really, really do not get is the weird iceberg wedge.  What is that all about?  Answers on a postcard.
