The painting continues at Victoria’s new place, when she moved in the walls were a hospital waiting room green which felt repressive and horrible. Now her place has been given a modern facelift by being painted a light bright grey. The rooms have very high ceilings and sash windows and so the grey really goes beautifully making it look very classy. She is also around the corner from a little parade of shops which has amongst other things a little café. I say café, it is a poshed up version of a café with a rustic look, not your usual fare and they sell homemade cakes.
Victoria went out and bought us all lunch, I had a cheese and onion toasted sandwich which was really good. It had thickish bread, lots of filling, was toasted perfectly and really just what I needed. I should have got tomato soup because toasted cheese sandwiches with tomato soup is almost unbeatable.
