A while ago I was tinkering with a scallop chilli pasta recipe that I just was not happy with. I tried again today with angel hair pasta and queen scallops. This time the angel hair pasta was wrong, it just felt too fine so there were too many strands of pasta and too much of it and too heavy. I am have thought about giving up on this but then think if crab linguine and prawn pasta works why won't scallops? I love scallops and I just want it to work. One to put on the back burner while I think about how to get it perfect.
Meanwhile the noodles I ordered for hokkien noodles arrived today, super exciting.
