I have an old faithful spaghetti Bolognese recipe that I have perfected over a few years. It is rich, full of taste and enjoyed by everybody but sometimes I come across a recipe that makes me think I need to try that.
The other day I came across a Bolognese recipe by George Colombaris. It had cloves and cinnamon and 3 different meats and really intrigued me and so I knew I needed to try it. It tasted like a bowl of Bolognese that had been sprinkled with Christmas. It was really different but so so nice. Not as rich and tomatoey as the English version but Iād definitely make it again as a Christmas Bolognese special.
