We are going to spend a few days in Cape Town resetting so we flew down and headed for the Blouberg area which is just so beautiful.  I follow lots of South African instagram accounts and so Blouberg has been on my hitlist for a while.  I was so excited to get here. We were going to have lunch at one of them but it was just so snobby and far too upmarket for what we were looking for today.  Nothing on the menu jumped out at me so we had chocolate cake which was ridiculously expensive for what it was and not even that nice. What a disappointment.

For our evening meal we headed to the Blowfish Restaurant at the dolphin beach hotel which had a prawn special.  1kg of prawns with a side 99 rand and honestly it was out of this world.  I started by saying it was unlikely I would finish and just a few prawns in I knew I would have to finish them.  They were divine and we washed them down with a gorgeous bottle of Simonsig wine.  Utterly divine, a wonderful wonderful evening.
