Today we had to pack before we went off for a family lunch and we have bought so many food items that we actually needed an additional suitcase.  Thank goodness Riaan had spare. We have spices and chutneys and chocolates and biscuits and sauces and all manner of things, so many things to last until we can return.

We had a really wonderful family brunch overlooking the Haarties dam with Rhona and Riaan’s cousins. Anneli has such a beautiful house and is such a funny, generous host.  Everybody was lovely and it was such a lovely time that hours flew by and it felt like we had been there hardly any time at all. Before we knew it though it was time to go to the airport.

Thea and Riaan have really gone out of their way to make our time here amazing and saying goodbye was extremely sad and difficult.  Until we return thank you both so sincerely for a lovely time.
