We landed today to an absolutely freezing -4 degree snowy day. My poor cold bones are really feeling it I can tell you.  We brought back some lovely wine as well as our usual spices and sweet treats. I do love bringing spices back and love how different countries have different things.  The Cape Herb and Spice company have fantastic spices, you can get some of them here but not the full range and they really are my favourites. 

Luckily nothing we brought back was ruined or broken so we can have a lovely meal remembering our wonderful trip.

We are far too tired to actually cook, staying up beyond 8 was difficult and so we ended up just having a ham and pickle sandwich, a bag of crisps and a cup of tea. I was reminded for the second time within a week just how fantastic simple food can be.
