Egg on toast with chiu chow chilli oil
Ingredients
2 slices of bread
2 eggs
1 tbsp wine vinegar (if poaching)
Vegetable oil
Salt and pepper
2 tbsps ketchup
Butter
Method
You can either have poached or fried eggs, both are great.
Get a pan of water on to boil if poaching.
Put the bread in the toaster.
When your water is boiling, turn down the heat, add a splash of vinegar and crack in you eggs. Cook on a simmer for 3-4 minutes.
If frying, add a tablespoon of oil and butter and heat, add your eggs, season, put a lid on and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Butter your toast and top with the eggs. Put some ketchup and a ¼ tsp of chiu chow chilli oil on your egg and enjoy.
