Kelly’s super noodles
Ingredients
125g fine egg noodles, dried
350ml stock - I like chicken or vegetable
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp kicap manis (ketjap manis)
1 tsp honey
¼ tsp Chinese five spice
1 tsp rice vinegar
Optional
Cooked meat or sweet corn
Method
Bring the stock to the boil in a pan and add the soy sauce, kicap manis, honey, five spice and rice vinegar to the pan and stir. Add the noodles and cook for around 3 minutes until they are soft and cooked through. If you use thicker noodles this might take an additional minute.
If you would like you can then add a handful of meat or veg.
