Matt got to choose what we are eating today and picked steak, chips and mushroom sauce.  He saw my last blog post and said he could not get it out of his head.  I thought I would try the chips cooked in the oven because if the little chippies and roasties work then why not chips?  I am so glad I did, it was quick and easy and actually worked really well.  The quality of your potato cannot be downplayed, I used Vivaldi's as always and they were so super sweet and lovely.
