My brother James and some of our friends used to play football with MasterChef finalist Nick Rapson. Anyway, one of our friends Max organised a private event with Nick at the Guildford Arms. Nick made a Latin American menu which were canapes of crab arepa and mushroom ancho infladita. The starter was seabass ceviche in tigers milk and passion fruit. The main was Hereford bavette, poblano corn veloute and chimichurri and dessert was quesillo venezolano, run and a honey tuille. There was even a mezcal representative so we got to taste different mezcals. We had such a great laugh although such a late night, tomorrow is going to be tough.
