So today I made the Nigella Christmas chutney I have been talking about all week. I really should have made it at least 3 weeks ago because chutney needs a good month (or more) to mature. Me being me I could not help but taste it and it is ok but not special so I cannot wait to see how it matures and changes over the next few weeks.
Since I was now feeling Christmassy I decided to make a beef stew with Christmas flavours - it was utterly delicious and the whole house now has Christmas spice in the air and the wonderful smell of a beef stew. I feel so happy today.
