Following on with the German theme tonight we had currywurst with onions in a bun.  These gorgeous little sausages are bratwurst covered with curry sauce. They are kept linked rather than cut apart and cooked until browned, then onions are softened and caramelised with some caraway seeds and then you pour in some German beer, put the sausages back in and cook for 10-15 mins until the sausages are cooked and the ale gone and top with curry sauce.  Served in gorgeous brioche buns, the world feels good.
