So today I started to make my crab apple jelly with the most expensive crab apples ever - I really need a tree - and although the apples went in looking very plain as I hung the apples in the muslin cloth to drip through the most amazing beautiful pink liquid started to go through into the jug. It is so pretty and I am so hopeful.
We also made a Bavarian goulash which looked very boring but oh man it really packed a punch and was just so good. The flavour in the stew was absolutely incredible and is definitely one worth repeating.
