Last week we made some gorgeous orange and whisky marmalade.  We somehow ended up with so many oranges and so since we have got so into making preserves it seemed the most natural thing to do.  We added whiskey right at the end and then cooked for 5 mins just to take the raw alcohol taste off of it.

Today I had a piece of golden toast with lots of melted butter and a lovely cup of tea topped with our gorgeous marmalade on it, it was so good.  Toast can be so fantastic and I love that it is so quick and easy.
