I saw a recipe for a cauliflower and broccoli macaroni cheese and although the recipe itself was a really odd one, I could not stop thinking about how great it would be. When the kids were young I used to often cook cauliflower and broccoli cheese but at some point I stopped and I have not thought about it for years.  We love macaroni cheese and often make it and so, thinking about the recipe I saw, I combined the two with my own recipe. 

I admit, I was excited, I love cauliflower, love broccoli, love cauliflower cheese and love macaroni cheese. I did think it would be delicious but oh my word it was just amazing. I could have eaten a bucket load.
