Happy Chinese New Year!

For Chinese New Year this year we decided to basically just fill up on crispy duck with either pancakes or bao buns only as it was midweek and a busy week at that.  We all love crispy duck and it was absolutely delicious.  I love little pancakes but oh my word the bao buns were divine.  The soft pillowy bun with the crispy skin of the duck, the crunch of the cucumber and the sweet hoisin and plum sauce was just fantastic. I think next time I would probably pick bao over pancakes. Chinese pancakes and hoisin and plum sauce I always buy by the way, Gressingham sell both with the duck which is perfect.
