I made a scallop pasta tonight, the pasta was really tasty and the scallops lovely but the recipe didn’t feel like one dish and so needs some serious tweaking before I can share with you. The pasta was really tasty but essentially just another take on tomato pasta. I cooked the scallops on a much higher temperature than I usually would after watching Masterchef and they cooked so beautifully, they were soft and caramelised and really good.
Meanwhile I have been asked to make a 21st birthday cake. I love cooking and love creating cakes but have this fear that the cake will look rubbish or really home made and so find I am nervous yet excited. I drew up a few ideas and now know what I am cooking I just need to finalise things and order everything I need.
