Today was another busy day running around trying to get everything we needed, wrapping and delivering gifts and finishing off the Christmas clean of the house.  I like the house to be spotless for Christmas so it always turns into a lot of work but I know tomorrow when we start to celebrate I will be happy.

Today we should have been celebrating with James and Kathryn and Saturday’s change of heart by the Government meant we couldn’t.  Still we were lucky enough when we dropped gifts today to be given a takeaway dinner, Italian chicken and polenta cooked by Kathryn and a lemon panna cotta made by James.  Both were really happily received and devoured.  I always feel very happy and spoilt when people cook for us. The food was just gorgeous.
