We both decided to take the day off today and have a long weekend. We thought (probably too late) abut having lunch at an Italian restaurant in Westerham that has been recommended.  Unfortunately, the restaurant we wanted to eat in was fully booked and so we ended up in another Italian just around the corner. This restaurant was the total opposite, it was absolutely dead. This makes me nervous but we were out and so made the best of it. We shared a starter of calamari, I had seafood spaghetti and Rhona had and the pineapple pizza.  The food was nice and it was good to get out but on a busy lunchtime in Westerham, we were the only ones in this restaurant which probably speaks volumes.

I got home and decided to use up the glut of carrots to make a carrot cake which was actually fantastic.
