Rhona was sent a recipe for arrabbiata sauce which was so intriguing, it has 24 cloves of garlic. 24! Of course we had to try it. I cleared my diary and declared I would not be leaving the house tomorrow but Matt and Rhona were braver than me, or simply just stuck needing to go out. The sauce itself was quite spicy, it needed some tweaking such as a touch of sugar, and some parmesan just to stop it being so one dimensional but by and large it was really delicious. We served it with penne and saved some for tomorrow when I will be making a pesto and spicy tomato chicken lasagne. Matt loved it, really loved it which always makes me smile.
