The book of the month, Vietnamese Made Easy is coming to an end and so this week I wanted to put in some more meals this week before it ends. It has been a really enjoyable month and the food has been lovely.
Tuesdays are always late days with the day job and so we decided a good recipe would be the steak and eggs. The steak was marinated and honestly it was fantastic. There are also leaves for some bitterness and crunch, tomatoes for acidity, crispy pickled red onions, a fried egg which gave a crispy bottom and a gorgeous dressing. We also added shitake mushrooms which is lovely. Absolutely perfect and super quick.
