Today is Rhona's birthday - happy birthday Rhona!
She requested prawn pasta with a spicy sauce and I have to say I made probably the best meal I have cooked either in a long time or possibly ever. I made a prawn stuffed ravioli with a tomato sauce infused with the prawn shells and drizzled with a spicy prawn and chilli oil.
I feel a little bad/big headed saying this but oh my goodness it was incredible. The prawn mousse filling was delicate yet flavourful, the pasta lovely, the sauce was so rich, so tasty with a hint of the seafood and the spicy oil really set the whole dish off. It was utterly delicious, a real lick your plate meal and one very worthy of a special meal.
