This morning we had snow, and in the afternoon bright sun. Sometimes the UK weather amazes me. I long for a long hot lazy day soaking up the warmth from the sun.

We made a simple butternut squash pasta.  Butternut ravioli with a hazelnut burnt butter, fresh rocket, pecorino and freshly cracked black pepper.  On it’s own butternut pasta is not full of flavour but when you put it with something like sage butter or hazelnut butter, it brings it alive.  I really love the crunch of nut butter and I do love rocket. I love this recipe and since discovering it 3 weeks ago have had it 3 times ha ha
