Watching My Kitchen Rules Australia, one of the pairs used a Peruvian fruit called lucuma which I had never heard of.  Obviously the first thing I did was google it. It looks a little bit like a rounded mango although it apparently tastes like butterscotch which really intrigues me.  I love discovering and learning about new things.  I could not find the fruit available to buy but did find powder, it would make good ice cream I think.  We will be testing and I will let you know. Apparently it is also a super fruit. I really am excited to taste and play.
