Over Christmas I bought a large piece of beef and, being stupid, froze it whole - DOH! So yesterday had bbq beef which is deep and rich and hearty and today I thought that Vetkoek with curried mince would be nice. It is light and spicy but because it really is a fried savoury doughnut it feels indulgent and delicious. Any leftover mince is also really lovely on toast for lunch. Looking forward to tomorrow already.
