I wanted to do a take on shepherds pie, only with a Moroccan twist. I have been recipe testing and while I think the lamb, the top potato layer is not. I mean, it is not bad, I did a sweet potato mash which on its own is nice but it just did not work with the lamb layer. So this will be one to develop and change. Maybe crushed saffron potatoes?
I also received today Happy Food, the very last book for the book club I needed so now I have them all. I am really happy, almost all of the books are probably books I never would have purchased for one reason or another but I really am enjoying that fact too. Some of the best books I have in my collection are directly because of the book club. I am looking forward to when I can actually see my sister in law again and try some of the vegan recipes.
