Today we had a belated birthday celebration in Brentwood with Nicky and Brian.  We started at a little pub sitting outside having a drink then moved on to the Lemongrass Thai and finished at the Slug and Lettuce.  We really had a very good, very fun evening full of laughter and way too many cocktails, I suspect my head will really hurt in the morning. 

We all love Thai food and the food in the Lemongrass was absolutely divine.  We had tempura prawns, salt and pepper squid, chicken satay and Thai fishcakes followed by a beef Penang and a Thai green prawn curry.  The food was so good and really worth a visit if you find yourself in Brentwood.
