Today we went to Nicky and Brian's for Jacks birthday.  I stressed the whole way there whether or not Jack would like his cake, which thankfully he did. In the end it did look really cool even though the stupid white lines did not set properly which meant when we were placing the players we had to be really careful not to touch the white lines - which is impossible.  By the time the players had been placed the lines were no longer super straight but it still looked nice and Jack was so chuffed with his cake and that it was both English and South African (the flags and players) that he really did not notice the imperfections.

Todays lesson is just that, you stress and stress and people are generally so pleased to have something hand made and personal that those little things just don’t get noticed. So be less hard on yourself.
