The sun shining means one thing - braai.  Today we had espetadas and roosterkoek. espetadas are super easy, you mix up a marinade, leave most of the day then thread onto a skewer and braai.  Hopefully the vinegar in the marinade would have done its job and the meat will be tender and gorgeous with a peri peri flavour.  So good.  Then we cooked the Jan Braai roosterkoek to eat with our espatadas and they were like fluffy pillows, so simple and just so tasty.  What a fabulous meal.
