Sometimes a little spice is just what you need for a pick you up. Today we made sirloin with a Thai red curry pineapple sauce. It was delicious and spicy but I just wanted a little extra spice so decided to put some fresh red birds eye chilli over the top. It was so hot, even for a birds eye, this little firecracker burnt. Despite being that hot, it really did add that touch of heat I was looking for today (but don’t always) and made the dish absolutely perfect.
