I am still waiting for the summer. Bar a few sunny hours Saturday (interspersed with cold grey moments) it really has been a little grim.
Today however, despite the grey sky we test drove the Roccbox to make pizzas and oh my word they were fantastic and took 60 seconds to cook. We used Jo's Thermomix pizza dough and it turned out so much better than I expected. The Thermo heated the water and the yeast to 37c which I think made all the difference. It was the nicest dough ever. If you don’t have a thermomix just use this pizza dough recipe as it is still really good.
We made both pizzas with our pizza based sauce, a margherita and a crudo which had fresh burrata on the top.
The only thing that might have made it better is a sour dough base but really I am nit picking. Nothing beats great pizza and a great pizza probably needs a pizza stone to get that taste. It is worth investing.
